KeryFlex™

The professional solution to restoring your toenails to their former beauty

KeryFlex nail restoration system is a simple application that can restore the appearance of unsightly damaged or fungal toenails. The patented resin creates a flexible, non-porous nail plate that allows the real nail to grow in a fungal free environment. The KeryFlex™ artificial nail bonds to any remaining nail tissue and bed to provide an exceptionally realistic looking plate during concurrent anti-fungal therapies such as oral medications. It transforms an unsightly, disfigured nail, providing an immediate cosmetic improvement. It also compliments fungal nail laser, oral or topical treatment. Treatment takes around 20 minutes and under normal conditions the KeryFlex™ restored nail will bond to the regrowing nail. The KeryFlex™ nail is durable and unaffected by acetone, nail polishes or detergents.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to apply KeryFlex?
On average, a podiatrist, experienced with the procedure, can complete the application of KeryFlex Bonding Agent, KeryFlex Resin, and KeryFlex Sealant, with UV light curing time included, in 15-30 minutes depending on the how many nails needs to be reconstructed.
After KeryFlex is applied, how soon must a patient return for another application?
The interval between applications will vary according to the patient, but in general, the time between applications is six to ten weeks. Rarely, a KeryFlex nail may detach from the natural nail. This can occur with repeated trauma to the KeryFlex nail, like with long-distance running, when patient has a small segment and if the nail edge has extended beyond the proximal tip of the hallux.
Can restoration be done on a toe with NO natural nail?
KeryFlex does not bond to skin, therefore, the presence of at least 15% of the natural nail is required.
How is a KeryFlex nail removed?
KeryFlex nail becomes permanently bound to the natural nail. To remove the nail, a podiatrist can grind the artificial nail utilising an electric drill until it is no longer attached to the natural nail.
Have there been any reported allergies to KeryFlex ingredients?
In rare cases, allergies (redness, irritation) have been reported.
